IMeBIO specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of controlled environments. The French company, located near Grenoble, was founded in late 2008 to develop and sell self- contained BSL2 & BSL3 modules in response to the needs of the Life-science industry. Since its inception in partnership with the Institut MERIEUX, IMeBIO has expanded its product line to now offer products for various industries – pharmaceutical, oil & gas-, various processes – production, quality control, R&D -and in various formats -containerized modules, trailers, platforms-. In addition, IMeBIO has been developing solutions for the military with biosafety-biosecurity & CBRN products.

Our innovative containerized laboratory concept stems from years of experience our R&D and assembly teams have in the construction of conventional and mobile laboratories, as well as cleanrooms. The driving forces behind the design of our modules are: reliability, quality and, above all, safety, our number one priority. Therefore, all our designs take into consideration the safety of the users, the safety of the surrounding population and the integrity of the sample.

IMeBIO’s team is dedicated to offer modules responding to the highest industry standards and coming with innovative products. Our level of safety and innovation allowed IMeBIO to rapidly build a solid reputation.

IMeBIO’s success is driven by our one-stop-shop philosophy. We are capable of managing and providing turnkey solutions everywhere in the world. Projects can range from the design of the perfect module to suit our clients’ needs to manufacturing and qualification on their site. For design projects, the engineering team will assist clients from the drafting of their requirements to the final configuration of the modules. We can then deliver bare modules or fully furnished labs depending on clients’ needs. At delivery, modules are prequalified and ready to use: “Plug & Play”.
